We are also experienced in conducting internal audits of processes and procedures, providing the skills, knowledge and independence required, particularly in respect of BRC audits. An internal audit by us is regarded by BRC auditors as a valid internal or first party audit.
Our food hygiene inspections include thorough, in-depth visual examinations and environmental testing using a UKAS-accredited laboratory. Water, ice and product sampling are included where required. The service may also include validation of some of your CCPs. Allergen testing can be arranged if required.
We use our mobile documentation system (Prove It Forms) for hygiene inspections and internal audits, designing the forms and documents to fit the requirements of your business. It has the advantages of being able to incorporate photographs and diagrams, and of incorporating a date-time stamp, making it excellent for communicating and highlighting problem areas as well as being auditable itself.
We are extremely proud of the positive feedback we receive from BRC auditors, and from local authority food safety inspectors, who see our internal audits and hygiene inspections as being more thorough than in-house auditors and inspectors.
